Our historic church relies on Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) funds—local grants generated from lodging and short-term rentals. These funds are awarded to nonprofits to promote historical restoration and preservation programs. To qualify, we must provide clear evidence that our programs actively attract out-of-town visitors who stay overnight in local lodging.
