OUR MISSION

To Restore and Preserve for Future Generations the History of African Americans in Fredericksburg and Gillespie County.

OUR PURPOSE

To create awareness of the rich history that African Americans living in Fredericksburg and Gillespie County, since the 1850s, have infused into this community. To share, with the city, community and visitors, the history of the unique relationship that existed between the African Americans and the German community.
