Since 2014, the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church of Gillespie County has been a non-profit 501(c)(3). Donations from individuals and businesses, the City of Fredericksburg and the County of Gillespie, plus organizations and special grants have helped fund previous restoration projects and the current expansion of the grounds including a replica of the original schoolhouse. Special gifts received have also been used to maintain The Colored Peoples Cemetery in Der Stadt Freidhoff in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Today, the church also serves as the site of the Hill Country Wedding Chapel which offers catering and photography for weddings and special events. See more at hillcountryweddingchapel.com.

 

Donations can be made online or by mail. Donors will receive a donation receipt for their tax-deductible gift.
